EPA Adds Nonylphenol Category to Toxic Chemical Release Reporting Requirements

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is adding a nonylphenol category to the list of toxic chemicals subject to reporting under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) of 1986 and the Pollution Prevention Act (PPA) of 1990. This move is based on EPA's determination that the nonylphenol category meets the EPCRA section 313(d)(2)(C) toxicity criterion.
