Airbus Proposes to Rescind Airworthiness Directives for Certain A330 Models
Airbus is proposing to rescind two airworthiness directives (ADs) related to the A330-243, -341, -342, and -343 models, which were issued to address potential fuel flow restrictions caused by ice. The directives, AD 2010-08-08 and 2011-06-04, require revising the Limitations section of the airplane flight manual (AFM) and deactivating the water scavenge automatic operation, but Airbus now believes these measures are no longer necessary due to design improvements.
