United Phosphorus, Inc. Seeks Exemption for Diisopropanolamine in Pesticide Formulations

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of diisopropanolamine, a neutralizer or stabilizer used in up to 10% of pesticide formulations applied to crops or raw agricultural commodities after harvest, following a petition submitted by United Phosphorus, Inc. under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
