Duke Energy Florida, Inc. Receives NRC Exemptions for Emergency Planning at Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Station

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted exemptions to Duke Energy Florida, Inc. for reduced emergency planning requirements at the Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Station, following a request from the company, due to lower risks of accidents that could lead to offsite radiological releases during decommissioning.
