U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Denies Petition for Commercial Distribution of Tritium Markers

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has rejected a petition by CampCo to amend regulations governing the licensing of products containing byproduct material, allowing for the commercial distribution of tritium markers, citing insufficient justification and an adequate regulatory framework for self-luminous products.
