U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to Consider Amendment to Watts Bar Nuclear Plant License

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is reviewing a proposed amendment to the operating license of the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant (WBN), Unit No. 1, which would modify technical specifications to address support systems needed after a unit shutdown and clarify requirements for the Safety Function Determination Program.
