FDA Proposes Changes to Blood Lancet Reclassification

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is proposing to reclassify certain blood lancets from class I to class II, requiring premarket review, and from class I to class III, requiring premarket approval, in an effort to enhance safety and effectiveness.
