FDA Releases Draft Guidance for Industry on Adhesion Studies for Transdermal Delivery Systems and Topical Patches

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a draft guidance document titled "Assessing Adhesion with Transdermal Delivery Systems and Topical Patches for Abbreviated New Drug Applications," which provides recommendations for evaluating the adhesive performance of transdermal delivery systems and topical patches in support of Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs).
