FDA Announces Guidance on Reporting of Computational Modeling Studies in Medical Device Submissions

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a guidance document to help industry and FDA staff understand the formatting and content requirements for reports of computational modeling and simulation studies used to support medical device submissions, aiming to improve review consistency and facilitate full interpretation of these studies.
