FDA Seeks Public Comment on Proposed Collection of Information for T. cruzi Infection Risk Reduction in Blood Components

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking public comment on a proposed collection of information related to the use of serological tests to reduce the risk of Trypanosoma cruzi infection in blood components intended for transfusion. The proposed collection aims to notify consignees and recipients' physicians of record about a possible increased risk of T. cruzi infection.
