Department of Justice Adjusts Civil Monetary Penalties for Inflation

The Department of Justice is implementing inflation adjustments to civil monetary penalties, as mandated by the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015, for penalties assessed after December 13, 2021, related to violations occurring after November 2, 2015.
