Bureau of Reclamation to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Long-Term Salmon Protection Plan

The Bureau of Reclamation plans to increase lower Klamath River flows to reduce the likelihood and severity of fish die-offs caused by crowded holding conditions, disease pathogens, and warm water temperatures, following a devastating 2002 event.
