US Extends Comment Period for Marine Mammal Welfare Rule

The US Department of Agriculture is extending the comment period for a proposed rule that would update the Animal Welfare Act regulations for the humane treatment of marine mammals in captivity, giving interested parties more time to prepare and submit comments.
