USDA Adopts Decreased Assessment Rate for Florida Tomato Committee

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule reducing the assessment rate for Florida tomato producers from $0.0375 to $0.03 per 25-pound carton, effective for the 2015-2016 fiscal period and beyond, in response to the Florida Tomato Committee's recommendation.
