Forest Service Proposes New Fee for Float and Power Boating on Wild and Scenic Snake River

The Wallowa-Whitman National Forest is proposing a Special Recreation Permit Fee of $5.00 to $10.00 per person for private and commercial boaters using the Wild and Scenic Snake River, which flows between Oregon and Idaho, to manage specialized recreation use and improve services.
