USDA Proposes Rule to Update Veal Tariff Codes and Assessment Levels

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has proposed a rule to amend the Beef Promotion and Research Order, adding six Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) codes for imported veal and veal products, and updating assessment levels based on revised live animal equivalencies, as mandated by the Beef Promotion and Research Act of 1985.
