USDA Proposes Increased Assessment Rate for Washington Cherries

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has proposed a rule to increase the assessment rate for Washington cherries from $0.15 to $0.25 per ton, effective for the 2016-2017 fiscal period and beyond, to fund marketing order expenses.
