U.S. Department of Energy Issues Final Rule for Energy Conservation Standards for Residential Furnaces and Direct Heating Equipment

The U.S. Department of Energy is updating its regulations to reflect court decisions that voided energy conservation standards for certain types of furnaces and direct heating equipment, as mandated by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
