Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Updates Regulations for Public Utilities

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is updating its regulations to adopt the latest version of the Standards for Business Practices and Communication Protocols for Public Utilities, which were developed by the North American Energy Standards Board's Wholesale Electric Quadrant. The updated standards reflect policy decisions made by the Commission and provide guidance on NAESB's Smart Grid Standards.
