Rolls-Royce Issues Airworthiness Directive for Turbofan Engines

Rolls-Royce plc is superseding an existing airworthiness directive to require additional inspections of its Trent 500 and Trent 900 turbofan engines, following the detection of a crack in a Trent 500 engine and further engineering evaluation indicating potential cracking in Trent 900 engines.
