Health Insurance Exchanges; Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care Seeks Recognition as Accrediting Entity for Qualified Health Plans

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced the receipt of an application from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) to become a recognized accrediting entity for the accreditation of qualified health plans (QHPs), a requirement for health insurance exchanges to certify QHPs.
