Medicare to Freeze IRMAA Thresholds and Remove Beneficiary Consent Requirement

Medicare is updating its regulations to conform to changes made by the Affordable Care Act, freezing income-related monthly adjustment amounts from 2011 to 2019 and eliminating the need for beneficiaries to consent to the release of IRS information to HHS for appeal purposes.
