EPA Proposes Approval of North Carolina's Revised Ozone Maintenance Plan

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve North Carolina's revised State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill ozone maintenance area, which would allow for a less stringent gasoline vapor pressure standard in certain areas during the high-ozone season. The revised plan demonstrates that this change would not harm air quality standards.
