Duke Energy Progress; Combined License Application for Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plants Units 2 and 3

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted Duke Energy Progress an exemption to delay submitting an update to their Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) for the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plants Units 2 and 3, allowing them to resubmit their combined license application by December 31, 2015, or sooner if the review resumes.
