FCC Adopts Experiment to Test Economic Incentives for Next Gen Networks in Rural Areas

The Federal Communications Commission has launched an experiment to see if tailored economic incentives can help deploy next-generation networks in rural, high-cost areas, including Tribal lands, using Connect America funding for high-speed, scalable IP-based networks.
