US Federal Communications Commission Revises E-rate Program Guidance to Prevent Overpayment

The Wireline Competition Bureau has updated the E-rate program rules to require applicants to deduct the value of ineligible services bundled with eligible services, in order to prevent the universal service fund from overpaying for services and to reduce confusion among applicants and service providers.
