FCC Takes Steps to Foster Development of Medical Body Area Network Devices

The FCC has issued a new Order on Reconsideration and Second Report and Order to promote the development and deployment of new Medical Body Area Network (MBAN) devices, providing users with more flexibility to implement technical standards and clarify rules for MBAN systems.
