FDA Proposes Regulation for Official Names and Proper Names of Biological Products
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is proposing a regulation to assign official names and proper names to certain biological products, including filgrastim-sndz, filgrastim, tbo-filgrastim, pegfilgrastim, epoetin alfa, and infliximab, in order to standardize their naming conventions and improve record-keeping and pharmacovigilance practices.
