DOJ to Submit Information Collection Request for National Instant Criminal Background Check System to OMB for Review and Approval

The Department of Justice, in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, will submit a request to the Office of Management and Budget for approval of the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, a critical component of the country's criminal justice infrastructure, as mandated by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
