Radiation Exposure Compensation Act: Procedures for Claims Submitted at the Statutory Filing Deadline

The Department of Justice is publishing procedures for filing claims under the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) at the statutory filing deadline, which is 22 years after the act's enactment in 2000. The Department will accept claims postmarked or stamped on July 11, 2022, and will make a determination within 12 months of filing for timely claims.
