Airworthiness Directive Supersedes Previous Directive for Airbus Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing an Airworthiness Directive (AD) to detect and correct damage or cracking of the 80VU rack fittings and supports on Airbus Model A318, A319, A320, and A321 airplanes. The new directive reduces inspection compliance time and adds an inspection of the upper fittings and shelves of the 80VU rack.
