International Workshop on Alternatives to the Murine Histamine Sensitization Test (HIST) for Acellular Pertussis Vaccines: State of the Science and the Path Forward

The NTP Interagency Center for the Evaluation of Alternative Toxicological Methods (NICEATM) is hosting an international workshop to discuss new methods for testing the safety of acellular pertussis vaccines, with the goal of reducing animal testing and improving test accuracy. The workshop is open to the public and will review the latest scientific innovations in vaccine safety testing.
