U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Amends Spent Fuel Storage Regulations for MAGNASTOR System
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has updated its regulations for the MAGNASTOR system, a spent fuel storage cask, to include damaged fuel and fuel assemblies with specific burnup levels, as outlined in Amendment No. 3 to Certificate of Compliance No. 1031.
