Compliance With Information Request, Flooding Hazard Reevaluation

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is releasing a draft document, the Japan Lessons-Learned Project Directorate Interim Staff Guidance (JLD-ISG-2013-01), which provides guidance on estimating flooding hazards due to dam failure. This document is intended to help the NRC staff reevaluate flooding hazards related to dam failure in response to an information request from March 12, 2012.
