NRC Withdraws Direct Final Rule on MAGNASTOR Spent Fuel Storage Casks

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has withdrawn a direct final rule that would have revised its spent fuel storage regulations to include the MAGNASTOR System, following significant adverse comments from a vendor, NAC International, Inc.
