FCC Proposes New Citizens Broadband Radio Service in 3.5 GHz Band

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is seeking public comment on a proposal to create a new Citizens Broadband Radio Service in the 3.5 GHz band, which could enable shared small cell use and reduce the need for geographic protections, while also offering a supplemental proposal to integrate an additional 50 megahertz of contiguous spectrum.
