FCC Announces Second Round of Phase I Funding for Rural Broadband Expansion

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is launching a second round of Phase I funding in 2013 to expand broadband access to rural America, while revising Phase I rules to encourage private investment and accelerate broadband deployment.
