FDA Extends Public Scoping Period for Produce Rule Environmental Impact Statement and Announces Public Meeting

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is extending the public scoping period for the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed rule on growing, harvesting, packing, and holding of produce for human consumption, and is holding a public meeting to discuss the scope of the EIS and provide information about the EIS process.
