Federal Agencies to Accept REAL ID-Compliant Driver's Licenses and Identification Cards for Official Purposes

Starting October 1, 2020, federal agencies will only accept REAL ID-compliant driver's licenses and identification cards issued by compliant states for official purposes, aligning with the REAL ID Act's phased enforcement schedule.
