FBI Proposes Changes to Next Generation Identification System

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is proposing modifications to its Next Generation Identification system, which would include iris images and fingerprints submitted by individuals appealing firearms denials, in accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974 and Office of Management and Budget guidelines.
