FCC Proposes Revisions to Reliability Standards for Electric Grid Transmission and Interconnection Operations

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is proposing to update the reliability standards for the US electric grid's transmission and interconnection operations, following a certification by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) as the Electric Reliability Organization responsible for developing and enforcing these standards.
