U.S. Department of Labor Offers Up to $250,000 in Grants for Mine Safety Education and Training

The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) is providing up to $250,000 in grant funds to support education and training programs aimed at identifying and preventing unsafe working conditions in mines, with a focus on powered haulage safety, mine emergency preparedness, and examinations of working places in metal and nonmetal mines.
