NMFS Extends Emergency Action to Modify Monkfish Landing Limits

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is extending and revising an emergency action to temporarily suspend and modify monkfish landing limits for vessels issued a Federal limited access monkfish Category C or D fishing permit, in an effort to mitigate the economic and social harm caused by recent reductions to annual catch limits for several Northeast multispecies stocks.
