EPA Extends Public Comment Period for Toxicological Review of 1,4-Dioxane

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced a 60-day public comment period for a draft toxicological review of 1,4-dioxane, following a delay in the release of the review to the public. The review, prepared by the National Center for Environmental Assessment (NCEA) within the EPA Office of Research and Development (ORD), will undergo independent external peer review after public comment.
