Department of Justice Requests Extension of Firearms Transaction Record Information Collection

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) is seeking an extension of its existing information collection request (ICR) for Firearms Transaction Record-ATF Form 5300.9 and 5300.9A, also known as Form 4473, due to the expiration of the current ICR at the end of August and the need to address comments on proposed changes to the form.
