Illinois Approves Volatile Organic Compound Emission Control Measures for Chicago and Metro-East St. Louis Ozone Nonattainment Areas

The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency has approved several volatile organic compound rules to satisfy the Clean Air Act's requirement for reasonably available control technology in moderate ozone nonattainment areas, including the Chicago and Metro-East St. Louis 8-hour ozone nonattainment areas.
