VA Issues Interim Final Rule to Expand Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance Traumatic Injury Protection Program for Genitourinary Losses

The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing an interim final rule to amend the Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance Traumatic Injury Protection program, adding genitourinary system losses to the program's Schedule of Losses and defining relevant terms, in order to make qualifying genitourinary losses eligible for TSGLI benefits, thereby expanding the list of losses for which payments can be made.
