HUD Proposes Rule for Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS) Regulations

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has proposed a new rule to establish regulations for Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS), which are used by organizations receiving homeless assistance funding to track program data. The proposed rule aims to improve data collection and consistency across Continuums of Care, as mandated by the HEARTH Act of 2009.
