VA Amends Schedule for Rating Disabilities to Provide 100% Disability Rating for ALS

The Department of Veterans Affairs is revising its rating criteria for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) to ensure veterans with service-connected ALS receive a total disability rating, reflecting the progressive and fatal nature of the disease.
