US Army Corps of Engineers Releases Draft Environmental Impact Statement for APL Container Terminal Project at Port of Los Angeles

The US Army Corps of Engineers has made a Draft Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report (EIS/EIR) for the American President Lines (APL) Container Terminal Project at the Port of Los Angeles available to the public, following coordination with the Los Angeles Harbor Department/Port of Los Angeles. The project, which would add 12 new container cranes and a 1,250-foot-long wharf to Berths 302-306, is expected to result in a 347-acre marine container terminal.
